Met Gala Theme 2023 Revealed

On the first of May 2023, the 49th annual Met Gala will be taking place. The head of Vogue, Anna Wintour, has confirmed that this year's theme will be an ode to renowned fashion designer Karl Lagerfield (fashion icon and creative director of high end fashion brand Chanel).

The couture theme "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" is sure to beat last year's, "America: An Anthology of Fashion". After last year's Met Gala resulted in negative reviews from the public, Vogue is determined to make a strong comeback with the appearance of high-end celebrities and an exposition of Karl Lagerfield's most iconic fashion pieces.
